The blagdon electronic blanket weed controller works very well but will not completely eradicate blanket weed. Personally, I observe that the existing strands of weed the blanket covers will continue to grow, but no new areas of blanket weed will form. If you can take time out to manually remove existing strand’s then this device will work great for you.

This device is a must. I didnt think it woukd work but 1 week aftwr installing my pond was weed free. And stayed like it all summer. In my opinion a must have product. Just make sure you use an electronic controller aerials.
I couldn’t recommend this product strongly enough.
